Clockwork

The delay required for a complete overhaul of the clockwork alone varies between one and three months according to the age, the complexity and the damage the mechanism has undergone. After overhaul, the clock will be monitored and regulated every day during four weeks. It will then be returned to its home by Thierry or Grégory Amstutz himself. Your clock will again accurately slowly mark the hours thanks to the power of its weights or springs. Price of an overhaul of the mechanism depends on its age, its complexity and damage.

Thierry and Grégory Amstutz recommends an overhaul after :

– five years for a clock created in the 17th century
– seven years for a clock created in the 18th century
– eight years for a clock created in the 19th century
– ten years for a clock created in the 20th century
– ten years for a clock created in the 21th century

Cabinet and painting

Thierry and Grégory Amstutz his also at your disposal for restoration of the cabinet, i.e. woodwork, painting, decoration or gilding with gold leaf. The time required for a partial or complete restoration of the cabinet varies between two and six months. Price of a restoration of the decoration depends on its age, its complexity and the damage.
